03:07 pm - My night out at the Gay Bar
I went to the fund raiser for Theater Artists Olympia. It was held at the Olympia Ballroom, above the Urban Onion. Spice, was the name of the fund raiser, and it was amazing. I wish I had kept the paper with the name of the acts on it, I will have to try to get one from Esther. There was this blues singer that hadn't sang for 22 years, because of having a child. She didn't seem like she had lost anything from being out of the business for so long. She wailed out the blues songs, it was just amazing. The comedians were fairly funny, especially the second one who did the voices of some of the characters from Lord of the Rings, on weed. The Drag Queens were good, especially the host of the evening. There was a cellist, a belly dancer, and a Def Poetry reader that were all very good too. And then there was Esther who was just amazing. She did a great Drag King, if that's what it's called, with great facial features throughout each song. But, then came the Burlesque which was awesome. It was like, yeah boobies, but wait there Esther's boobs, then yeah boobies, and repeat. I had a great time, probably the best time I have had in awhile when I go out. Most bars are like, watching sports and not talking to anyone, this was like a totally different experience which is nice.

I found a person that lives just a little way down from downtown, so he is going to start giving me rides everyday to and from work. He also invited me to his church, which I might attend either this or next Sunday.

But, again Esther Rocked the ballroom with her Burlesque and Drag King Performances.

08:45 am - It's been forever
I have to give much loving thanks and respect to Esther. I was having such a hard time finding a job, and then Esther told me about Remedy. I went down there and next thing you know I was working 12 hour days for a weekend. $217.00 for 3 days, not bad at all. I have know been working for the Columbia Bottling Company(Mainly Pepsi and Sobe products, and a perk is that I get to take home a case a week.) for the last week. I get 9 hours a day with an optional Saturday, which means over time every week. I have been working from 5:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. every day, which is nice, because I have the rest of the day to relax. Now I know that I am in good shape, because it takes me 45 minutes to get to work on my bike. So, I am riding for 1 1/2 hours every day, plus working the 9 hours at work. Once again, not to brag, but they told me that I am doing better than guys that have been there for 3 months or more, and last week was my first week there. The great thing is that when they hire, they pay $20.00 an hour plus full benefits and 401K. So, I am busting my ass to try to get to that point though it might take a few months, as there are 3 people ahead of me. but, if they don't keep up numbers than they are gone and I am closer. You are supposed to put up 60 and hour, which is what 2 of them are doing. Me and another guy are putting up 75 an hour! The only problem is right now I am mostly working outside, and I have a pretty bad sunburn. I think Aloe will help, but any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.

Like i said before thanks a lot Esther, I owe you a lot, maybe I'll cook a nice vegetarian meal for you sometime, and that is saying a lot coming form a carnivore. Much Love to you Esther.

I miss seeing everyone too. Jean-Paul Mel and us have to get together sometime soon since we have been talking about it for so long, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Weekends are easist for me since I have to wake up at 3:45 every morning just to get to work on time.

Oh, yeah if you ever see anyone on the streets begging for money, at least give them some change, it is just the Christian, and right thing to do.

Well, th th th th th th that's all folks, for now.

04:40 pm - Sniff
I am having a really hard time with still being at this job and have received no calls about any other job yet.
I am feeling really depressed. Counselling would be just one more thing that we would have to pay for. Whenever I think about being at this job for a longer period of time I just feel depressed and sometimes at the point of crying. I wish I would just hear from anyone about a job offer. I am thinking about getting back on Paxil, but I don't like the side effects, though anything is better thatn being depressed. It seems like I just need a miracle to happen to help me get out of this job. I just fear that if I stay at this job my depression will go beyond my control. I just need help, and a new job. Who knew an a-hole of a boss could cause someone to feel so horrible. I have applied at State jobs, but haven't heard anything beck yet.

If there is anyone who knows about a job opening, or anyone that works at a State or other $11.00/hr. job that using their name might help out please help me out if you can. I just feel so alone and surrounded by the darkness of my depression. Any help will be appreciated more than you will ever know.

02:48 pm - Football, and SAD
As my friend's know I have been battling depression for quite a few years now, but have kept it under control for the last 2 or so. The greatest thing that has helped me has been cognitive thinking, which helps me turn all of the voices in my head from demeaning and self pitying to supportive and uplifting. I was also able to determine whose voices added to the depression. I had read "Feeling Good", which helped me with the cognitive thinking. My wife helped play a big role in giving me support and helping me deal with my depression. I actually stopped taking Paxil about 2 1/2 years ago. I was having some side affects. But, I was able to deal with the depression on my own without any medication. Part of the depression came from me taking so much Ecstasy when I was in my Rave Days. But, then with talking to my family members I found out that many of them have taken medication or are currently taking medication. So, I have been doing very good for quite awhile.

It seems though that I had been feeling sad for a little while. I thought it might have something to do with SAD, and looked up the symptoms. Well, I have been taking some St. Johns Wort, E-mailing friends more often, talking to friends on the phone more often, and having
friends over more often. My friend Matt comes over every other week, and I visit Bekka once a week, even though she is smelly(ha,ha). So, I
have also thought of taking Vitamin D, which helps with SAD. But, I have been doing better since the St. Johns Wort and have had a great week and a half so far. I have also wondered if Ecstasy just gives a short term chemical change which causes depression for a short period of time, depending on how much and how often you have taken Ecstasy.

Now on to my COLTS and the Superbowl. WooooHoooooo!!!! I think my Indianapolis Colts have a great shot at getting to and winning the Superbowl. I will be watching every Playoff game up to and including the Superbowl. COLTS, COLTS, COLTS!!!!!!!!!! This is our year. I am thinking of having some kind of get together for the Superbowl. WARNING: You may be told to be quiet repeatedly if caught talking during the game, If caught talking on numerous occasions you will be banished to another room, a very Large amount of Meat and Beer will be ingested by many guests, rowdiness may and probably will occur.

i am not indie at all!

How indie are you?
test by ridethefader

Who are you trying to fool? Just because you own a couple of Weezer albums
doesn't mean that you're uberindie. Indie people don't hear about cutting edge
new bands from MTV. At least the ignorant don't know what they're missing...

Woohoo, I'm not indie, by the way I would never ever buy a wezzer album(they suck)!
The only independent music that I am into is rap and hip hop, like when Common wasn't a famous name,
which a lot of people probably still don't know who he is.
